People begin psychotherapy with me for a wide range of reasons - from concerns with depression, anxiety or trauma, or to increase their experience of self-understanding and to feel more connected with others. I feel it is important to have a strong connection and a sense of trust with your therapist. Whether it is to relieve symptoms or to increase meaning in life, therapy is much more effective when you feel that your therapist understands you and your specific background and situation.
